Regal Inn, a 140-room hotel in Midrand, heats with a 60 kW Fröling wood-pellet boiler. We supplied the boiler, lifted it into position by crane, and installed and commissioned it, fully integrated for reliable, energy-efficient heating.
Residential · Johannesburg CBD
A building in the Johannesburg CBD, converted into an upmarket residential apartment block, gets its hot water from a 400 kW Fröling biomass wood-pellet boiler system.
A 50-ton crane lifted the equipment from the delivery trucks into the first-floor boiler room, and our team installed the boilers and pipework to supply hot water to about 450 apartments and 1,200 tenants.
The boilers run on wood pellets made from sawmill sawdust, a carbon-neutral fuel that is more economical than heating the same water with electric elements.
